Amy Shannon, an American storyteller from upstate New York, channels the strength of women through her prolific writing. Running the popular book review site "Amy's Bookshelf Reviews" and a writer's blog, she supports Indie authors. After surviving cancer in 2004 and a domestic violence assault in 2005, which left her with lifelong migraines, she pursued further education, earning degrees in English, Adult Education, and an MBA. A mother of three supportive sons, and one son, semi-likes here. Amy has written over 140 works, including her 2024 nonfiction historical book, Balls-Town: A Community of History, Friends, Neighbors, and Lingering Spirits, emphasizing the importance of preserving local history.
