Libby is alone in the world. She has friends and co-workers but no-one she can tell her big secret: She got kicked out of school and is living on the streets of Toronto.

Michael is a former cop with what his dearest friend calls a saviour complex and he calls being a good person. When he meets Libby again he can tell something's wrong and he does his best to help when she lets him, which isn't often.

Ending up roommates makes a certain kind of sense. Ending up in shibari classes together is workable. But falling for the same guy? Really could mess things up.
