Anthropological Study is Lauren Miller's first full-length poetry collection. It is a guided meditation on young adulthood, infused with poems that sift through the blistering truths of queerness, gender identity, neurodivergence, and mental illness. At once experimental and deeply reflective, Anthropological Study offers readers a torch and a mirror with which to explore the Anthropocene as it currently exists for female-identifying twenty-somethings.

Lauren Miller is a twenty-something, award-winning author and published poet. She writes stories in all forms that capture the queer, female experience, as well as mental illness and neurodivergence. She has a passion for filmmaking, feminist literature, and ocean conservation. When she is not writing, she is pursuing her degree, reading, or spending time with her beloved goldendoodle, Lila June.
