Connection.

Understanding.

Love.

Things that every human being wants and needs.

In this collection of heartfelt poems, Jacob Shipton expresses humanity's deep longing for what makes life worth living, as well as the sublime beauty of the universe visible to those with open eyes and hearts-the dreamers.

A thought-provoking book of vulnerably honest poetry, "Let Dreamers Dream" is sure to resonate with fellow dreamers who are unafraid to face the truth both within and without.

Jacob A. Shipton is a poet as well as an aspiring novelist and playwright. This is his first solo published work and he hopes it is the first of many. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and resides in Illinois near where he grew up. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, board games, card games, reading tarot cards, reading endless books, and watching films of numerous genres. A devoted dreamer, spiritualist, and believer in the future of mankind, he enjoys discussing topics such as philosophy, theosophy, poetry, art, music, and more. Currently single, he is a hopeless romantic on a level even Disney cannot match but isn't going to settle (made that mistake already) for anything less than true love. His ultimate goal is to win the lottery (yes, yes, I know; let dreamers dream) and retire to a beautiful restored seaside home where he can write, read tarot cards in the arboretum, and travel, collecting books to fill his home. After all, it's not hoarding if it's books, right?
