Can the dead be raised?

Jonathen-Kyle Jaimes is no stranger to challenges. Not when it comes to family, friends, and especially not work as the youngest commanding officer of a starship, the SSF Endeavor. So, when all three of these challenges arise at once-his husband's cancer, his friend's betrayal, and a mission to find a cure for a highly infectious bio-tech virus-he is forced to tap into a side of himself he never wanted to explore, and is terrified of it controlling him instead of the other way around. He has to wake the witch inside, or all of humanity and beyond will lose their fight. Will he be able to wield the power his bloodline cursed him with since time immemorial, or will he lose himself in the process?
