In 2020, Phyllis Goldin, Wanda Lea Brown's wife of forty-six years, died of complications from Parkinson's disease. Over the next five years, Brown, a lifelong poet, harvested dream images to accompany decades of her love poems. This collection, I Dream You Home: Poems of Grief and Gratitude, powerfully articulates passionate love and the grief of being alone.

In poems whose settings span fifty years, Brown seeks catharsis, learning to live with its impossibility--probing the daily emptiness, yet never failing to note moments of grace that come to fill it.

Wanda Lea Brown is a life-long poet. Originally from the Twin Cities in Minnesota, she lives close to the beautiful St. Croix River in Western Wisconsin with Sparky, her Border Collie. A University of Minnesota graduate and retired business owner, she has been in writers' groups and residencies, and is an activist for peace and justice. Wanda is a camper and world traveler, and when at home stays close to the river, and to treasured family and friends.

Her book Waiting for the Dough: Writings, Drawings and Non-Prize-Winning Recipes is a creative collaboration with her wife, Phyllis Goldin.
