Witty, heartwarming, and deliciously swoony-a grumpy/sunshine workplace romance with found family, office intrigue, and all the feels.

Grumpy video editor Ben Blumenthal has perfected the art of cynicism... until he meets Pete Bailey, a devastatingly handsome chef whose sunny disposition should be annoying but somehow isn't. Ben's used to keeping people at arm's length; Pete's a walking catastrophe who somehow stays cheerful despite it all. But as Ben works side by side with Pete in the kitchen, he discovers there's much, much more to this beautiful mess of a man than meets the eye...

Dylan Morrison has known he wanted to be a writer since roughly age five. However, Dylan Morrison is also the sort of person who, when falling from the top of a very tall tree, has the marked tendency to hit every branch on the way down. As a result, he attempted to find fulfillment and stability by trying an assortment of other professions on for size, each with varying degrees of success. After determining that he was, in his heart of hearts, neither a project manager nor a recruiter nor an administrative assistant nor a customer service professional nor a social media manager nor at all interested in answering phones for a 24-hour plumber, Dylan was forced to reconsider the possibility that he might, in fact, be a writer. Luckily for Dylan, the condition of being a writer is as incurable as it is permanent, so he did get in some practice during his time exploring other career paths. His fanfiction, which he's been posting online for nearly two decades, has been translated into more than fifteen languages and read by millions across the globe. A queer trans man himself, Dylan has a particular passion for telling stories about complex, layered queer characters, and for depicting those characters finding joy, self-acceptance, and love. Dylan is based in Cleveland, Ohio, where he shares a home with his spouse Rowan, too many books for any two people to read in a lifetime, and a frankly excessive amount of jam. If you are looking for him, your best bet is to check the kitchen, where he is highly likely to be making a sandwich.
