In 1856, a gay gunslinger escapes to the Queer Frontier in search of Utopia. He is joined by his best friend, a lesbian doctor disguised as a man. Joining them are a would-be assassin from Prussia, and a runaway boy pulp fiction writer. The four mismatched colleagues hold presbyterians hostage, ride a tornado with a Mormon wagon train, rob an offbeat stagecoach, and fight a war in Wyoming with the spirited citizens of Utopia against the evil clan of the Wunderfahrt Ranch.
